How real are you? This is a serious question and I really want you to think about it. It’s easy to hide behind the facades we build around ourselves based on the roles we play in everyday life but honesty, there’s an authentic you under the titles, the roles and appearances. Do you know your authentic self?

It is easy to fall into the trap of hiding behind excuses such as “that’s just the way I am” or “I was only being honest” when in fact true autheniticity lies just on the other side on honesty.  And furthermore, the way you are is the way you have chosen to be. Do you catch yourself going along with the crowd afraid to rock the proverbial boat? There is no authenticity in that behavior. If you want to be honest, tell the truth in love.

I know you are busy; since you are already here I want to encourage you to take the time to watch the video clip in this post. It is about 20 minutes long but I promise you it will be time well spent. Really, I’m being real!

“When we are willing to be authentic, it liberates us and it touchs and inspires the people around us. That’s the power of authenticity.” Mike Robbins author of ‘Be Yourself  Everyone Else Is Already Taken”

After you watch the video in this post, answer this question and share your authentic self by commenting here or on my Facebook page.  Here’s the question:  If you really knew me, you would know this about me. Let’s see how real are you.
